The Center for the Study of Global Gender Equity is happy to announce we offer a Masters in Global Studies in collaboration with the Center for Global Studies and the Program in Arms Control & Domestic and International Security (ACDIS). Our track is Gender and Public Policy.
The Gender and Public Policy track prepares students for leadership in international and domestic careers in government and non-profit agencies that focus on gender and policy issues. Based on interdisciplinary and intersectional approaches, this track provides students with the analytical and empirical skills needed to address global human security and gender equity issues in research and policy analysis, from gender, cultural, economic, legal, moral, political, social, and technological dimensions. Relevant topical areas include policy and leadership, social and economic equity, and family and community. Students in this track are interested in an array of careers in sectors like environmental science, sociology, urban and regional planning, policy analysis, diplomacy, public and social affairs, international development, humanitarian affairs, post-secondary and international education, communication, and international trade.
