Fatou Jobe (African Studies) Fatou is a MA. student in African Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Fatou’s research examines the economic, environmental, and governance ramifications of Chinese investment and the global aquaculture industry on women in Sanyang Village, The Gambia.
