Teresia Njoroge, is a Ph.D. student in Entomology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Teresia's research investigates local and naturally occurring plant families with mosquito repellence properties in Western Kenya region to help use extracts to make less expensive and eco-friendly repellents which can be used by women for controlling the transmission of mosquito-borne diseases.
