Biography

Asmaa Elsayed is a doctoral student in Global Studies in Education in the College of Education at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Asmaa earned her Master of Arts degree in International Development from American University’s School of International Service in Washington D.C., and her Master of Education degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has been working in the international education field for the past ten years. Asmaa enjoys reading & writing, classic music, vegan food, and travelling.
