Bala Saho is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Saho received his MA in African Studies and the GRID Minor in 2007 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  He received his PhD in History from Michigan State University.

He will be participating in the upcoming WGGP 40th Anniversary Symposium on March 4, 2021 with his talk entitled, "Ritualizing the Womb: Kañeleng Women’s Resolve to Counter Infertility in the Senegambia"
