Heidi M. Hurd elected to American Law Institute

Heidi M. Hurd is the Ross and Helen Workman Chair in Law and Co-Director of the Program in Law and Philosophy at the University of Illinois College of Law. Professor Hurd has written numerous anthologized book chapters, peer-reviewed philosophical essays, and articles that have appeared in the nation’s top law journals.  View Professor Hurd' Profile Here

Heidi M. Hurd has been elected to The American Law Institute (ALI). Founded in 1923, ALI is the preeminent scholarly organization in the United States dedicated to clarifying, modernizing, and improving the law. Hurd joins a class of 31 newly elected members, which includes prominent judges, lawyers, and scholars.
