GRID student Marwah Malik was awarded the 2023-2024 Barbara A. Yates Fellowship. Marwah Malik (Urban and Regional Planning) is a PhD student in Urban and Regional Planning. Marwah's research uses a multiple case study design. She explores how women-led grassroots organizations in Pakistan employ the notion of solidarity in their flood relief narratives and practices to carve paths for a climate justice praxis that is premised on transformational change.
