GRID Student, Nehal Elmeligy, was awarded the 2023-24 Rita and Arnold Goodman Fellowship. Nehal (Sociology) Nehal is a PhD Candidate in Sociology. Through an ethnography in Cairo, Egypt and digital data collection, Nehal's research investigates Egypt's contemporary mostly digital feminist counterpublics, created by recently founded feminist consciousness raising and knowledge production initiatives.
