Eva Chen is a Ph.D. student in Developmental Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Master's degree in Developmental Psychology also from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Eva obtained a BA in Educational Psychology and Counseling from National Taiwan Normal University. Research interests include Immigration and Human Development; Gender and Development; Child Development in Cultural Contexts; Parental Beliefs Cross Culturally; Women's lives in East Asia and Language Socialization in East Asia.
