On April 4, 2024, the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program with the Gender & Women's Studies Department hosted Welcome Remarks and a discussion on Common Differences Then and Now: Geographies of Feminist Journeys as a part of the Conference on "Transnational Feminist Resistance(s) Against Contemporary Violence(s). 

The conference was organized by graduate students from WGGP and GWS: Amaury J. Rijo Sánchez (Sociology), Nehal Elmeligy (Sociology), Marina Moscoso-Arabía (Geography), and Mahbubeh Moqadam (Sociology).
