Koeli Goel is a Ph.D. student in the Institute of Communication Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Master's degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Illinois University. She also holds Master degrees in Philosophy and English from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India. She was awarded a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta University in West Bengal, India.
