Pamela Chiang is a Ph.D. student in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her MSW in Social Work, Concentration of Child, Youth and Family Services was received from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also received a Master’s degree from the Law School at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan. Her Bachelor’s in Social Work was received from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. Pam’s research interests include immigrant families’ involvement in child welfare system; the impact of transnational migration on women’s health and children’s well-being; evaluation of social work education programs.
