Prof. Min Zhan of the School of Social Work has been appointed Director of WGGP beginning August 16.  Min brings a long history of collaboration with WGGP and its Gender Relations in International Development interdisciplinary graduate minor, which is housed in the School of Social Work, where Min has served as Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Engagement.  Min’s scholarship concerns social policies and other factors associated with the long-term economic well-being of low-income families with children, as well as family financial planning strategies.  This work has a transnational and comparative foci that connect with both the United States and China.
