Congratulations to Atyeh Ashtari, who was recently awarded the 2020 "Excellent Teaching Assistant by Students" Award! Atyeh is a doctoral student in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. Her research deals with everyday development of urban environment through gendered practices using feminist social reproduction lens, in particular a radical care approach. Atyeh will also be giving a CSAMES talk titled “Gender Apartheid and Micropolitics of Liberating Space in Urban and Peri-Urban Iran” on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 12:00pm CST.
